Life Story

Before Erika Eleniak put on the red Baywatch bathing suit, she was already a familiar face on TV and in movies. At a young age, Eleniak started modeling children's clothing and doing some television commercials. Her first film role was in E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, where she played the girl who kisses Elliot in school. She next popped up on Silver Spoons, and in the 1988 Blob remake. In 1989, she had a guest role on Charles in Charge (Nicole Eggert) playing Scott Baio's girlfriend. The two became a couple in real life as well. In 1992, Eleniak starred in Baywatch. She played the female lead, prior to Pam Anderson coming on the show.

To help further her career, Eleniak decided to pose for Playboy in 1990. Elenaik and Playboy made for a winning combination, as she appeared in the magazine three times that year, and went on to appear in 14 Playboy special issues, including Playboy's Girls of Summer 1994 and Playboy's Nude Celebrities in 1995. It's no surprise that Eleniak's next role would be portraying a Playboy Playmate in the action film Under Siege in 1992. She also used her good looks to bring some much needed sex appeal to The Beverly Hillbillies remake in 1993, in which she played Elly May. She also appeared in Dennis Hopper's film Chasers, which includes a very memorable sex-scene. She also appeared in the campy, but fun Tales From the Crypt: Bordello of Blood with Angie Everhart in 1996.

Unfortunatley, Eleniak rounded out the 90s by appearing in forgettable films such as Final Voyage with Ice-T and Stealth Fighter. Eleniak returned to TV in 2005, appearing on the reality show The Real Gilligan's Island (Angie Everhart, Rachel Hunter). In 2006, she was also a member of the Celebrity Fit Club cast. She is currently taking some time off to raise her daughter.
