Taylor Rain (born Nicole Sabene on August 16, 1981 in Long Beach, California, U.S.) is an American pornographic actress. She claims that she was attending Cypress College to become a flight attendant but changed her mind after the September 11, 2001 attacks and decided on a career in the pornographic film industry.

Pornographic film career

She has appeared in more than 200 pornographic films in a three-year time span, the first of which was under the name Nikki Star in Pop Goes the Cherry. Most of her work includes anal sex. She married Scott Fayner on January 10, 2004. The marriage was annulled shortly after.

Taylor has done very few lesbian scenes. With the exception of a lesbian threesome in Penetration Nation, those few scenes have been for VCA and all involved several girls at once. She also did a lesbian scene in High Desert Pirates with Felecia, Alexis Malone & Jynx, also for VCA Pictures. She has also never appeared in a scene with a black performer and has said she will simply not do interracial scenes, although she has been with Lloyd Banks in her private life and she has appeared in one scene with Rick Lee, an Asian male. This choice may be due to her father's influence, for his dislike of interracial sexual relations. Retirement

In December 2005, she announced her retirement from acting in pornographic movies and will focus on directing titles, and spend more time on her new pay website, in which she will submit photo galleries, hardcore videos, and chat with fans online. Taylor also announced she wants to settle down and start a family, and that retirement will allow her to do that. In June 2006 she announced her pregnancy on her website, but miscarried one month later.

She was the winner of the Porn Star Beauty Pageant on the Howard Stern Radio Show in March 2005, beating out fellow porn stars Kami Andrews, Railee, Renee Pornero, and Aurora Snow .

In February 2007, she spent 20 days in jail for possession of marijuana and driving under the influence. In a post that she made on her web site on March 20, 2007, Taylor wrote that she was given a choice between 20 days in prison, or avoiding jail time by doing community service and entering a DUI program, and she chose 20 days in prison. She also wrote that she smuggled 40 THC pills and 20 bars of Xanax into prison with her. It is not clear whether her driver's license was suspended upon her release from jail, because while writing about the things that she missed the most during her prison stay, Taylor wrote, "No driving and that's my favorite thing to do! Smokin a fatty, cruise down PCH, top down in the 650 w/ 2 pit bulls in the back enjoying the salt in the air, rockin out to Van Halen, that's what I missed the most! Guess what... I'm back full force! I missed life for 20 days!"
