Kady Malloy is a gorgeous 18 year old singer from Katy Texas who Simon Cowell called "the best audition so far" in season 7.
Kady was raised in Katy, Texas where she attended James E. Taylor High School. Season 2 contestant Kimberly Caldwell also attended the same high school.
Kady audtioned for American Idol in the summer of 2007 at the Dallas, Texas auditions, in her audtion she showed off her talent for doing impersonations of other singers. She sang three songs for the judges, the first I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman showed off her ability to emulate Britney Spears' voice. Her second song was Carrie Underwood's Before He Cheats, even though it was not intentional the judges felt she was trying to sing the song like Carrie. So for her third song she sang Unchained Melody.
