Move over Anna Kournikova, there's a new, younger, better, less Russian hot jock-girl: Jennie Finch.

Life Story

The world famous Finch began playing the game since she was five,and has been pitching since she was eight years old. In high school, she lettered four times in softball and twice in basketball and volleyball, and she was captain of all three sports during her senior year. Finch's dad, Doug Finch, was her pitching coach and developed the famous arm conditioning device known as the Finch Windmill.

After high school, she played softball for the University of Arizona where she was a three-time All American pitcher. She graduated with a career total of 109 victories and struck out a total of 1,028 batters.

In 2004, Finch was a member of the U.S. Softball team at the Summer Olympics in Athens, where she lead the team to victory.

After Athens, she appeared on the Spike TV show Pros vs. Joes, and was the first woman to be a Pro on the show. She also can be seen This Week in Baseball, where she usually pitches to Major League stars. She is currently working for ESPN and pitches for the Chicago Bandits.

Finch has turned down a lucrative offer to appear in Playboy, saying that she would rather be a role model to young girls. She has appeared in a tank-top and mini-skirt for the cover of Sports Illustrated.
