Ashley Marie Massaro aka Ashley biography

Ashley Massaro was chosen to be one of the 10 WWE Raw diva hopefuls out of thousands of girls to be in the annual competition called the "Raw Diva Search 2005". Each week on Raw the 10 girls would perform a talent, stunt, or just tell the fans why they should vote for them and each week. The fans would vote on www.wwe.com for who was there favorite. Right off the bat Ashley had it made. The fans fell in love with her hardcore, go for it all rocker style look and attitude. Being able to e-mail her and connect with her on a more personal level then in the ring as a performer was a big plus. Fans immediately started to look things up about her by going to her official website www.ashleymassaro.net. The fans saw her résumé and her modeling photos and knew that she was it. She was the next Raw diva. After winning the Raw Diva search competition she went to perform on Raw on a weekly basis and teamed up with Trish Stratus, a six time WWE women's champion. Ashley had her first major storyline was against the Trish flattered Mickie James. Mickie became jalousie of Ashley's friendship with Stratus and decided to attack Ashley weekly. The storyline ended when Ashley got injured during a number one contender match and broke her leg. After about six months of being out of action Ashley made the switch to the Smackdown roster and has proven herself to be one of the most popular divas on Smackdown. In April of 2007 she hit the news stands as the newest playboy cover girl. She then headlined the greatest event of all, Wrestle Mania 23. After wrestle mania Ashley went into surgery to get a screw tightened that had come lose during one of her matches prior to Wrestle Mania 23. A few months later Jillian Hall cause Ashley to run directly into Vince McMahon spilling his coffee all over his suit. McMahon suspended Massaro indefinitely from the smackdown roster. Massaro is now working on a reality TV show called Survivor. She is spending 45 days in China and should not be back on WWE tv. Ashley has just recently rejoined the WWE and is part of the RAW Brand. During her tenure on the RAW brand Ashley worked sparingly and was released from her WWE contract in May of this year.
