Alison Eastwood aka Alison biography

Real biography: Alison Eastwood is the daughter of movie icon Clint Eastwood, and has become an entertainment force in her own right. After a rebellious childhood, she’s gone on to become an actress (Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997), Poolhall Junkies (2003)) and most recently a director (Rails & Ties, 2007). She’s worked as a model, and posed nude for Playboy in 2003. Eastwood also has her own clothing line of ranchwear, called the Eastwood Ranch.

In probably the coolest conception story ever, Alison was “brought about” by Clint Eastwood and Maggie Johnson, a swimsuit model, while Clint was filming his legendary cop movie Dirty Harry. She attended posh schools in Monterey and Pebble Beach, California while growing up. Apparently, the silver spoon left a bad taste, for Alison became a rebellious teenager, and was even arrested for drunk driving. In 1990, she moved to Santa Barbara to study acting.

Alison worked as a runway and magazine fashion model in Paris, gracing the cover of several magazines, including Vogue. After a few sporadic parts early on, her acting career really picked up steam in the late 1990’s when she landed roles in Absolute Power (1997), Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997), Suicide, the Comedy (1998), and Breakfast of Champions (1999). Her first four movie parts were in films either her father directed or was starring in. Having a father who’s one of the greatest forces in Hollywood history seems to be a good “in” in the entertainment business.

Alison has proven herself multifaceted, branching out into fashion design (with her Eastwood Ranch clothing line), directing (with 2007’s Rails & Ties), and posing nude (with her 2003 photo-spread in Playboy magazine). One can only hope she continues to remember what is important, the latter item on the aforementioned list, and indulges that passion more than the others.
