Real biography: Julia Roberts is one of those chicks that has never stopped being hot. From her first big role in Pretty Woman to the Ocean's movies, she's been a force in the movies.

Life Story

Roberts was born in the small Georgia town of Smyrna in 1967. She originally wanted to be a vet, but after graduating from Georgia State University she headed to New York City to pursue a career in acting. Her brother Eric Roberts was already in movies when she decieded to persue acting. Upon arriving she immediately signed a contract with the Click modeling agency and started to take acting classes. After numerous television appearances and small movie roles, Roberts got her first big role in the movie Mystic Pizza in 1988. But it wasn't until two years later that she blew up.

In 1990, Roberts was cast in the movie Pretty Woman, even though it co-starred Richard Gere the movie was a success. Roberts was nominated for an Oscar for her performance as a hooker-Cinderella and her career was forever set. She was in Steven Speilberg's Hook alongside Robin Williams and Micheal Collins alongside Liam Neeson in the 90's to keep her career going strong. In 2001 she won ans Oscar for her portrayal of Erin Brockovich in the movie Erin Brockovich

Roberts has dated a bevy of Hollywood's biggest actors including Dylan McDermott, Daniel Day Lewis, Benjamin Bratt, and Keifer Sutherland. She was married to Lyle Lovitt for a few years before getting divorced. And after all the celebrity dating, Roberts wound up marrying a cameraman she met on the set of her movie The Mexican. They wed in 2002 and had twins in 2004.

Recently, Roberts has tried her hand at Broadway acting and animated films. But her next project is a flick called Charlie Wilson's War co-starring Tom Hanks and Phillip Seymor Hoffman.
