Erin Carufel aka Erin biography

Real biography: Erin Carufel comes to acting through her passion for kicking ass. She’s a two-time US Open gold medal winner in Tae Kwon Do (1996 & 1997) and a two time Gold Cup Champion in Tae Kwon Do during those same years. She has since parlayed her unique abilities into the world of Hollywood, and found both guest starring roles and stunt work in television and movies.

Erin was born in Modesto, California, but raised in Beaverton, Oregon. Erin comes from a family of athletes (her brother is professional golfer Mike Carufel). She began dancing at the age of four. In 1996, Erin was crowned Miss Oregon American Coed, and during 1996 and 1997 won her Tae Kwon Do championships. What would could be more emasculating than having an incredibly hot girl beat the crap out of you? Ouch.

Erin took her unique skill set to school at the University of Southern California. There, she studied theater, but also starred in over 30 student short films. While doing this, Erin also traveled Europe as a kickboxer, where she became the undefeated champion, she was in the Army ROTC, and she became the first female ever to play on USC’s PAC-8 ice hockey team. Apparently, she wasn’t able to get around to building her own space shuttle and becoming the first person to land on Mars.

Since college, Erin has launched her own production company, Juggernaut Entertainment, and been pursuing philanthropic work in Africa, in addition to her acting pursuits. Erin did stunt work for Daredevil (2003) and Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005). She also has acted in television shows CSI: Miami and Without a Trace, and in feature films such as Breach (2004) and the upcoming Untraceable (2008). Who knows what the future holds for this dynamo, but the one thing to be sure of is that you’re not standing in her way.
