Real biography: Early Life

Anya was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. She was adopted when she was four years old, by a Hawaiian family. She was raised by her adoptive family in Oahu. Anya attended Moanalua Elementary school and graduated at Waipahu High School in Hawaii in 2007. She danced Hula and Tahitian, and was in the Polynesian Club during highschool.[5] Anya's modeling career started at the age of seventeen in Hawaii. She was booked for informal fashion shows by Chanel, Fendi, Jeanie Chun, Louis Vuitton and among others. She was previously signed to More Models & Talent in Honolulu before appearing on Top Model. Anya has decided to use her russian last name Rozova instead of her adoptive family last name Kop.

America's Next Top Model

Anya was the runner-up of America's Next Top Model, Cycle 10. Her bubbly personality and high fashion appeal were often praised in judging. She started off strong in the beginning of the competition, receiving the first call-out. She consistently improved, taking beautiful pictures, one after the other. She was voted Covergirl of the Week for week 10. She also won three challenges, one where she participated in a nude photoshoot taken by Nigel Barker. She also won the opportunity to appear in a 7up advertisement, with an "Au Natural" theme and received $10,000 from 7Up. For her third challenge prize, she was given a dress by Gai Mattiolo. During the Covergirl commercial challenge, Anya was praised for her relatable personality, but her print advertisement received mixed reviews. After chosen in the final two along with competitor Whitney Thompson, both women participated in a mock Versace fashion show in Rome. In final judging, Anya was criticized for being too restrained in the show, losing to Whitney Thompson.

Anya has the highest call-out mean in America's Next Top Model history, it being 2.64, beating out Mercedes Scelba-Shorte of Cycle 2 with a 2.9; she also has the highest call-out median in ANTM history, with it being 2. Anya has the highest collective number of first call-outs, along with Joanie Dodds of Cycle 6, both having been called out first five times in panel. Anya is also the third contestant of the series to never appear in the bottom two throughout the competition, the first being Joanie Dodds and the second being Jaslene Gonzalez. Anya is the third contestant of Russian lineage to join the show, with the others being Natasha Galkina of Cycle 8 and Mila Bouzinova of Cycle 9.
